About Me…
One important lesson I’ve learned is this: don’t strive for perfection—embrace the moment, even in its imperfections. Laughter, humility, and authenticity open the door for us to live as our true selves.
For more than 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving others by helping them discover their strengths, passions, and purpose. My calling is to teach and empower people to walk in freedom so they can live victorious lives filled with power and truth.
2010: Co-founded Selah Freedom, a nonprofit dedicated to helping survivors of human trafficking rebuild their lives.
2015: Founded Misty Stinson Ministries (aka Breathe Freedom), a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit that provides spiritual guidance and coaching to empower individuals to live in power, truth, and purpose.
2018: Launched Live In Freedom, LLC, a business specializing in health, nutrition, weight loss, and coaching.
2022: Published my first book, JUST SHOW UP: A Journey with God to Hear His Voice and Experience the BIG & MORE—a personal story of my pursuit of a deeper relationship with God that I knew was possible.
2025: Expanded Misty Stinson Ministries by establishing a Kingdom living discipleship community offering book studies, equipping events, weekly online teachings, and monthly soaking gatherings.
Through every season, my mission has remained the same: to raise up Kingdom leaders, equip believers, and guide others into the BIG and MORE of God’s presence, love, and truth.
My heart…
I spent many years living without truth and without freedom. But once I encountered God’s truth, I discovered a freedom that transformed every area of my life. Now, with a new awareness of what I once didn’t know, I carry a deep passion to share this freedom with others. I don’t want anyone to spend another day in bondage or unawareness when a life of wholeness and victory is waiting for them. My heart is for complete freedom—body, soul, and spirit. If my story, experiences, or insights can encourage or empower even one person, I want to give them away freely. My prayer is that through connecting with me, you will be impacted in some way that leads you closer to the fullness of the freedom God has for you.
About us…
Joe and I first met in 1989 at my aunt’s hair salon in Tennessee. What Joe thought would be a quick stop for a haircut during his travels from Florida turned out to be a divine appointment to meet his future wife. More than 35 years later, we are blessed with a beautiful family and precious grandchildren. Together, our goal is simple yet powerful: to love others well, to embrace life to the fullest, and to cherish every adventure that comes our way as we walk hand in hand with Jesus.
