“People keep saying to me, “Man, you’ve really had to work hard to lose all that weight!” Mainly because we have been conditioned to believe that doing this requires us to give up a lot of the things that we love. So, here's a short list of stuff I have had to give up while on this journey: Diabetes medication, chronic fatigue, shortness of breath, knee pain, swelling in my joints, big and tall clothing stores, seat belt extenders, feeling embarrassed by the way my clothes fit (or didn't), watching my family do things while I sat on the sidelines unable to keep up and unwilling to try.

I recently described it to someone by simply saying, "I've got LIFE back." And that's exactly how I feel. I had mentally come to a place where I could not see myself in any way other than what I saw in the mirror. I still struggle with that, if I'm honest…because though my body has changed, I’m still the same guy. My mind still tells me, “you’re too big to fit…” in that aisle at the store, in that booth at the restaurant, in that seat on the airplane, in that bathroom stall…yeah, that was a thing. But it’s not anymore… Praise The Lord for His mercy and grace.

Oh, by the way, I’m officially down by over 160 pounds since starting this program…my A1C is 4.7, and my liver numbers are normal for the first time in my adult life (after being diagnosed with non-alcoholic cirrhosis!

When I tell you that you can do it too - I mean it. You don’t have to believe it; I believe it for you.”

“I look at this picture and it honestly just makes me want to cry. It’s been 2.5 years of intentionally pursuing health and I still have mega goals I am working towards, but I am just so dang proud of the life I’ve built for myself. Here’s the thing though, I do the work every single day. IMPERFECTLY mind you 😂 but this progress didn’t happen over night, it was day in and day out tiny habit changes.

We live in a culture that’s always looking for a quick fix and that’s not what this journey has been for me. I lived 20+ years of my life overweight & struggling with some pretty damaging habits, and although I’ve made a heck of a lot of progress, I honestly don’t expect to truly experience freedom until I’ve been practicing this new life for 5-10 years. That might sound crazy to you but I’m in this for the long haul and I recognize that true change takes time... and let me tell ya, it’s worth it 🤍 even on the days I’m not feeling it!I”

“This photo on the left is post bariatric sleeve surgery AFTER losing 60 lbs. I thought that was as good as it gets, I could never break under about 170lbs trying keto, WW, liquid diets and anything else people suggested. I watched my coach for several years and was convinced I’d fail at this too!

I’ve battled weight my entire adult life. 6 months on program and I’m down 43 lbs and feeling fantastic! From a size 16 to a 6.

I tell friends, don’t be like me, don’t wait one more day. Best YES ever!!”

“The picture on the right represents me losing 85 lbs! What it doesn’t show is all that I’ve gained…gained confidence, more energy, better sleep, clarity in my thoughts & actions, improved relationships, and healthy habits that will last my lifetime.

I can’t say enough positive things about this program. It’s changed me for the better and I am grateful.”

“It feels so good to know now the freedom of being able to have healthier relationships with food and fitness now that I never have to diet EVER again.

I am eating more food than I have ever dreamed possible or previously imagined as healthy 😝 AND nothing is truly forever forbidden or off limits.

It was a challenge, at times to unlearn damaging paradigms like “move more and eat less” 🤦🏻‍♀️ Which is why the educational component really is the KEY 🔑 to making this stick long-term.

Do not neglect the mental transformation. Do not neglect the self reflection. You will thank yourself later.”
